Amnesia: The Dark Descent combines first person puzzle games, with survival horror and physciological thriller. The result is a wonderfully polished game with stellar graphics without the worry of ANY lag! (The game runs perfectly on my macbook). If you are planning on running around shooting monsters, then this may not be the game for you, however it is still a really fun game that you will most likely enjoy. Just a warning, it is easily the scariest game ever created. In my opinion, this is the BEST game I have ever played. For 20 bucks (less with sale!), this very lengthy game (which can be made even lengthier with the custom story mode) is an absolute steal and I would recommend this to EVERYONE!

I have heard this game was great. It isnt. Its Amazing, very scary and lots of hours of play. Love that it also comes with justine. Custom stories ru smoothly and it is definetly worth its money Hope to see more by frictionalgames in the app store.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent digs deep in your brain and brings your worst fears to life. Youre alone, weaponless and terrified. This game will make you sleep with a nightlight on for at least a month after playing. Looking forward to the sequel!

What is the point of this game? It might be me but I dont get it. I am not scared either. I should say something positive - graphics and sound are good.

This game is truly amazing. Its actually got pretty decent graphics, but its more about the gameplay. Protect yourself without weapons or any of that funky stuff. Turn off the lights, and enjoy the thrill. This game is sure to scare.

Best game iv ever played, its like an addiction !

I was expecting something amazing based on the reviews, but I was very much let down. The game seems to be well put together and if you have hours of time on your hands to walk empty halls, explore empty rooms and emerse yourself in a world of opening and closing doors and drawers, youll love it. Unfortunately the story doesnt build itself all that well. It has a spooky ambiance for sure, so that is very cool. I turned out the lights and turned up the sound for a creepy experience; the music and sounds were great. The graphics were well done and brought the creepiness out too! After walking halls for 1 1/2 hours though, it became very boring and repetitive. There is no plot in the game to grip you to want to keep playing despite what the reviews read otherwise. Again, if you have time on your hands to walk the halls here, youd be better off walking outside and seeing what the real world has to offer.

I have watched youtubers play this game and they have had a lot of fun with it. i debated buying this game because of the price but once i started playing it i realized it was totally worth the money. I would highly reccomend this game to anyone, if you can afford it ;)

FRAUDULENT WASTES OF LIFE AT APPLE AND FRICTIONAL GAMES. This game ended for me when a crucial piece of it was missing and it wouldn’t allow me to continue the story. Since Frictional (Fraudulent) Games customer service page is closed for this, I called Apple to get a refund for this bogus purchase, but they didn’t do anything for me because it’s been a year since the purchase was made. How cheap! It’s a digital game. It’s not like I scratched a disc! I’m done doing business with Apple after being a loyalist for many years. They’ve lost me. As for Fraudulent Games…I hope you peasants enjoyed whatever you got from the $19.99 I paid since you’ll never get another cent out of me.

Such a good story line, great puzzles, i literally cried at the end. No lag or problems whatsoever. 6/5

This is easily the best game you could get for a mac. Its got great graphics, it runs amazing, and its super fun. You play through various puzzles throughout the game, and while you solve those puzzles you are exposed to an amazing storyline. I forgot to mention you are also being chased by a scary looking creature. That slashes you to bits if you get to close. So if you like a good storyline. Love getting scared. And like solving the craziest puzzles, buy this game. Due to the scariness of this game, its great for hardcore gammers and gammers who just want to play for a few minutes. REMEMBER: The fun never ends after you play through the game. You can go online and download custom maps on the Friction Games forums for Amnesia, and the Modb. So if you like a long lasting fun experiance, thinking, and being scared. BUY THIS GAME!

If you like horror games, this is the game for you. You do most of the horror in your head. Not being able to fight, or so much as look at the masters really makes it creepy. But AWESOME game. Definitely a good buy.
